Post-Genomic Age" for Central/Eastern Europe
- The Royal Society. Information from Prof. Guy
Dodson: The Royal Society has a programme to sponsor collaboration with
other Academies. Therefore, if you are in an Academy and have a
collaborator in Britain, you should apply for a grant. In addition, the Royal
Society can also be approached via our Consortium.
- Fellowships from the European Commission. Marie Curie Fellowships
- NATO-sponsored Courses in Crystallography, held
annually in Erice, Sicilly. Participants from partner countries are encouraged
to participate. Fellowships for travel/participation are available.

- Bursaries for conferences from Novartis
Foundation. The present symposium bursary scheme has been operating
since 1983. It enables young scientists from any country to attend
symposia as active discussants and then spend 4 weeks in the laboratory of
one of the participants. This has been a popular scheme and has attracted
over 1500 applications from 20 countries. In all, more than 100 bursaries
