Live surgery on the Internet again
On 14 October Internet users will be able to watch a live operation conducted in the Department of Otolaryngology and Laryngological Oncology of University of Medical Sciences in Poznañ.

Reconstructive laryngectomy operation by Sedlack - Tucker will be performed by the Head of the Department - Professor Witold Szyfter. Live broadcast on the Internet will be possible thanks to the technical support of Poznañ Supercomputing and Networking Center.

It's not the first such operation broadcast online. PSNC has been cooperating with the Clinic of Otolaryngology and Laryngological Oncology of UMS for several years. Reports from previous treatments can be seen at: http://www.orl.amp.edu.pl/teksty.php?plik=live_surgery/index.php.
