In this year's rankings eighteen sites of municipal offices were considered, which - according to the monthly magazine "IT in government" - are the most powerful, technologically advanced and promoted during all the city action and events of the tested sites. Above all, the functionality and content targeted to a wide mass audience of the websites were tested . Not only the functionality to residents of the city itself was important, but also to visitors and tourists from abroad, investors and  NGOs. Test criteria were selected to take all recipients in account.

MIM has received the highest number of points among the municipal services, taking into account all the tests. According to reviewers, it is the Poznań site that has a logical structure, a very intuitive layout and is visually "light", all that making the effect of a huge convenience.

Undoubtedly, the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center has also contributed to the success of MIM. PSNC is not only the author of the technical side of the portal, but also the applications which it contains. In agreement with the city office, PSNC permanently designs and implements new and innovative IT solutions for the Multimedia City Guide.
