"E-Science as the key to development" is the topic of this year’s conference. Participants will deal with such issues as the strength of science and its impact on the everyday functioning of society, especially in the context of the Internet. In recent years, it is the network that significantly affects the sociological and economic phenomenon and hence the development of the entire global society.

Problems that will be discussed in Wroclaw refer to Internet, infrastructure and innovation. In each of these areas there are many interesting aspects such as social and economic importance of the Internet, network infrastructure, as well as the issue of intelligent human environment.

The conference is addressed to specialists in the IT area, dealing with the Internet, advanced servic-es, network and systems architectures, broadcasting technologies and social and legal aspects of cyberspace. Another part of the conference will be a presentation of good practices in the area of multibranch integration with ICT.

Due to the issues the conference, it is also addressed to the students of related fields and all network users, regardless of the field they represent.

The premiere edition of the i3 was organized by the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center in Poznań last year and ended with a great success. This year's conference will host partici-pants in Wrocław.
