The Competition for the best site of the city Euro Crest is organized by the Czech association of Zlaty Erb (Gold @), in cooperation with the European Commission and european associations for building the information society.

Multimedia City Guide was awarded for implemented e-services and innovative solutions for city residents. Wojciech Pelc, chief editor of MCG, received a congratulatory letter at the hands of Deputy Speaker of the Senate of the Czech Republic Premysl Sobotka.

Let us recall that this is not the first award for MCG. Last October the site of capital of Wielkopolska Region won the first place in the ranking of websites of “IT administration” press magazine.

Undoubtedly, the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Centre has also contributed to the success of MCG. PSNC is not only the author of the technical side of the portal, but also of the applications which it contains. In agreement with the City Council, PSNC permanently designs and implements new and innovative IT solutions for the Multimedia City Guide.
