You Tube – the most popular in the world social networking site where users can share their videos celebrates its sixth birthday. Statistics show that the portal is not willing to slow down the pace.
They also show that every minute, more than 48 hours (2 days)of films are loaded to YouTube. That is a 37 % growth over the past six months and 100 % during the year.
YouTube has also a large number of views. Within the last weekend, YouTube reached 3 billion views per day – so the result is about 50 % better than last year. That means more or less as if half of the world's population watched one video on YouTube a day.
