PIONIER Network: installation of a new optical transmission system
In April and May 2011 installation of a new DWDM optical transmission system of ADVA Optical Networking  has been completed in the PIONIER network.
A new DWDM transmission system of ADVA Optical Networking was installed on fiber optic between: Poznañ – Zielona Góra – Wroc³aw, Poznañ – Bydgoszcz – Toruñ – Gdañsk oraz Toruñ – Warszawa. This system allows to run up to 80 optical signals using one pair of optical fibers.
