Kick-off Meeting of strategic project HELPS

Kick-off Meeting of strategic project HELPS
HELPS Project has been approved within the Central Europe 2010 Restricted Call for Strategic Projects, priority Competitiveness, and has started in October 2011. Kick-off Meeting of strategic project HELPS will be held on the 6th and 7th December 2011 in Poznań.
The overall objective of the Project is to promote development strategies and practices with a view to improving the quality of life of vulnerable groups, with a strategic focus on elderly and people with disabilities, in urban areas in Central Europe. The specific objective is to develop and consolidate innovative housing and care solutions by supporting models of integrated local governance orienting policies, products and services. The idea is to foster synergies across different domains by bringing together the main actors active in housing and ageing/disability-related fields, from both the public and the private sector at EU, national and regional level.

The Kick-off meeting represents the first official project event; it foresees one day partnership working session and a public conference involving stakeholders interested in social innovation.
