On 22-23 February 2012 Celtic-Plus Initiative will be held in Stockholm. During the exhibition, PSNC will demonstrate the telemedicine platform developed under the HIPERMED project.
The demonstration includes the use of the platform in the scenario of remote medical consultation using videoconferencing in High Definition (HD). A video stream from a medical device will also be transferred.

The second scenario, presented by the Center from Poznan, shows the use of stereoscopic display (3D) in medical applications. The development of video conferencing system in the HIPERMED project, a 3D image is sent from the camera and the material recorded during a 3D bone reconstruction surgery can be transmitted.

On the exhibition stand, foreign partners will present the use of the HIPERMED platform in the remote supervision of physical rehabilitation.

HIPERMED project aims to develop an open integrated platform for telemedicine services based on a set of applications running on IP networks and constructed in accordance with the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) paradigm. The platform will support such activities as: remote consultations, distributed decision making in the treatment, tele-education and remote supervision of rehabilitation. The project will base on and develop the results of the HDVIPER, as far as the medical scenario is concened.
