Ready, steady go: “PLATON Roadshow”!
From 22 May 2012 a nationwide promotional campaign of five PLATON project’s ICT services will be performed by PIONIER Consortium and coordinated by Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center. We start in Rzeszow.

Promotional campaign of five PLATON project services will be performed in two stages and will cover 21 cities of the Metropolitan Area Networks. The presentations will be attended by representatives of the academic environment. During each visit, the main functionalities of the services will be presented.

The program will include, among others, the presentation of:

• video scenarios illustrating the use of services;
• OB van , and the presentation of local television studios;
• accessibility and usability of the PLATON platform together with the introduction of local coordinators of the services;
• possibility for the audience to use the services by the means of the demo account created especially for the “roadshow”;
• opportunity for consultation and contact with potential users of PLATON services platform with people responsible for its implementation, during the event;
• draws of promotional gadgets among the participants of the meeting

The goal of the PLATON project is the development of the national ICT infrastructure for science (PIONIER network) providing applications and services to support scientific research and development of polish research teams for the innovative economy.

Stage I of the campaign will be implemented according to the following schedule:
