On 13 May 2012, Poznan Supercomputing and Networking organized workshops of 4K and 3D technology for Television Production Study. The workshop was held in a special 4K projection room.

Television Production Study in Poznan is run for over 12 years but only now thanks to the cooperation with Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center, participants could familiarize themselves with the latest 4K and 3D technology. During the four-hour workshops not only information about PSNC and image technology were presented, but the participants could also see the equipment used to implement the discussed issues.

After the presentation of the activity of Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center, the 4K and 3D technologies were thoroughly discussed. Using practical examples, the curiosities and limitations associated with stereoscopy were penetrated. Students had the opportunity to handle the latest 4K cameras and a few models of 3D cameras.
