Prof. Jan Weglarz, the Conference host, started the opening session and welcomed all guests.

Among others, the opening session was attended by Piotr Florek – the Wielkopolska province governor, Grzegorz Ganowicz – the City Council President, prof. Adam Hamrol – Rector of the Poznan University of Technology and Marek Hołyński – Chairman of the Polish Association of Informatics.

The Conference takes place from 04 to 06 of December 2009. Scientific and R&D projects regarding innovations in informatics, infrastructure and broadly understood Internet will be presented during the Conference. Not only computer specialists, but also other professionals, in such areas as psychology, sociology and ethics, will be among speakers.
