The goal of the project was to work out the concept and implementation of the modern broadband services of remote access to very expensive laboratory equipment, a backup computing center and remote data visualization. The mentioned services bases on the Polish domestic HPC environment and advanced visualization. In the R&D stage, a pilot installation was built allowing to prepare the aforementioned services and application for the deployment.

Thank to the implementation of the cluster middleware, every user has transparent access to the available storage resources, to be extended in the future.

The proposed concept of the Virtual Laboratory of the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy was implemented and treated as a pilot solution and standard for the other virtual laboratories. The pilot installation (remote access and service) of the Virtual Laboratory of the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy was started.

The pilot installation of the Backup Computing Center is operated in co-operation with the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW). The users of the Polish computing centers have access to large aggregated computational power, which benefits with better software licensing utilization and load balancing of the computing power.
