PIONIER Network
News
26th edition of the International Supercomputing Conference (19-23.06.2011) started in Hamburg. It is Europe's largest meeting of supercomputing engineering environment which is known for its world-class discussions between specialists from various fields of science and industry leaders. Polish IT scientists are represented by Consortium PIONIER (Polish Optical Internet) and PSNC.
In April and May 2011 installation of a new DWDM optical transmission system of ADVA Optical Networking has been completed in the PIONIER network.
Have a look at pictures of the formal meeting of the Supervisory Board of the PIONIER Consortium, combined with a scientific session associated with the completion of construction of the PIONIER network investment. Consortium members met in Zakopane, May 13 and 14.
