HELPS Project has been approved within the Central Europe 2010 Restricted Call for Strategic Projects, priority Competitiveness, and has started in October 2011. Kick-off Meeting of strategic project HELPS will be held on the 6th and 7th December 2011 in Poznań.
Conference4me, conference mobile assistant, has been deployed for next conference IEEE CloudCom 2011.
The Polish Presidency of the European Union (Ministry of the Interior and Administration) and the European Commission are organising in close co-operation the sixth Ministerial eGovernment Conference, entitled "Borderless eGovernment Services for Europeans", on 17 - 18 November 2011 in the City of Poznań. PSNC has prepared the conference website and will broadcast online the plenary sessions.

On 12th and 13th October 2011 in Poznan will be held e-IRG workshop organised under the Polish Presidency of the European Union. The aim of the conference will be to discuss and exchange experiences on visions of development, finance and the use of IT infrastructure in science (e-Infrastructure) at European-level and in EU member states.
The Researchers' Night was once again a success! Thousands of people, regardless of age, visited hundreds of stands and laboratories. As every year the attractions prepared by the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and PSNC aroused great interest.
How to understand the language of animals, can we live forever and when to bath your own computer – these and many other answers will be announced on one special night – Researchers’ Night, which will be held on 23th September 2011. Co-organizer of the event is, as every year, PSNC.
Organized under the Polish presidency of the EU Council, European conference for security – Security Research Conference, organized annually, will be held in Warsaw from 19th-21st September 2011.
The registration for the 2011 Polish Digital Libraries Conference will be open for only two more weeks. Current edition of the conference will be held in Kórnik Library of the Polish Academy of Sciences between 10th and 13th of October.
27th National Symposium on Telecommunications and ICT – "KSTiT 2011" which will be held on 14th-16th September in Łódź will be dedicated to telecommunication and ICT. The event will be attended by representatives of PSNC.
Not only databases, but also issues concerning the construction of distributed and multimedia databases, as well as safety of both the bases and tool aspects will be the main topics of the 6th edition of INFOBAZY Conference, held from 5th to 7th September in Gdańsk.
