This year's IBC fair is accompanied by a one-day „CineGrid Day 2011” conference, where the representatives of PSNC’s Network Department will present their achievements and applications related to high-definition video.
“Wielkopolska Center of Telemedicine: improving the availability of specialized medical services and quality of treatment in Wielkopolska” project entered into the phase of pilot testing of medical teleconsultation platform. On 11th August 2011, PSNC in Poznań held a meeting, attended by representatives of eight hospitals selected for the pilot tests in Wielkopolska.
Open Repositories 2011 conference was held on June 6-11. It is an important international event for exchange of information about development, management and application of digital repositories.
26th edition of the International Supercomputing Conference (19-23.06.2011) started in Hamburg. It is Europe's largest meeting of supercomputing engineering environment which is known for its world-class discussions between specialists from various fields of science and industry leaders. Polish IT scientists are represented by Consortium PIONIER (Polish Optical Internet) and PSNC.
For four days (16-19.05.2011) Budapest became the European capital of Future Internet. And it is all because of the largest meeting of experts in this field – Future Internet Week conference. The event was also attended by representatives of PSNC, co-organizers of the next edition of FIW.

This year's edition of the international TERENA conference will take place in Prague (16-19.05.2011). During a four-day event, participants will present their latest research projects. Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center and PIONIER Consortium will also present their achievements.
In the National Museum in Warsaw works, carried out under the program “Digital Resources. Priority 2: Digitization of monuments and museum exhibits”, funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, have been completed. During the gala premiere – on 12th may 2011 – the portal of the Digital National Museum in Warsaw, which uses the dMuseion platform, was launched. This program has been created by Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center in collaboration with the National Museum in Warsaw.
For four days, from 11th to 14th may 2011 – Krakow became the world capital of Java. All through the International GeeCON Conference. PSNC is the technical partner of this event.
Vice President of Poznan – Tomasz Kayser took part in a teleconference with participants of the 5th Local Economic Forum in Tbilisi. PSNC was the technical partner of the project.
