In what direction should Poznań agglomeration develop, what may attract investors and whether the capital of Wielkopolska is a place for innovative projects. These and many other issues were discussed by the participants on the Fourth Economic Forum of the Poznań Agglomeration – representatives of local governments, researchers and entrepreneurs.

The ongoing two year Access IT project came to an end of. His solemn summary took place on 21th March at a special conference in Istanbul. The event was attended by representatives PSNC Digital Libraries Team.

Since Monday, 13.12.2010 the city of Ghent, Belgium, hosts the most important European meeting of experts in the field of Future Internet. For five days the participants of Future Internet Week will be able to participate in several conferences on issues affecting the Internet of tomorrow, such as new network architectures and deployment of next-generation IP (IPv6), living labs and intelligent cities and the main event gathering institutions of the Future Internet - Future Internet Assembly (FIA). The series of conferences is also attended by a group of specialists from PSNC, due to the fact that the next edition of Future Internet Week will be held in Poznań.

„The problem of assuring homeland security as a challenge for Polish UE Presidency in 2011” was the main issue of this year's Polish Platform for Homeland Security Conference, traditionally hosted in the conference centre of PAS Institute of Mathematics in Będlewo near Poznań. The event was also attended by representatives of the PSNC.

"E-Science as the key to development" is the topic of the second edition of i3 Conference: Internet - Infrastructures - Innovations, which started in Wroclaw. Within three days (1-3 December) over 90 presentations will be presented. The conference is organized by the PIONIER Consortium, PSNC, WCSS and Wroclaw University of Technology.
