Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center has been invited by Microsoft to a prestigious TAP (Technology Adoption Program) cooperation framework in the scope of HPC (High Performance Computing). The HPC TAP program covers research on a new version of HPC 20xx - software that is intended to be distributed in 2010. The program groups, besides PSNC, e.g. such well known corporations as BMW, IBM and Siemens. Microsoft HPC TAP is scheduled between March and September 2009 and the PSNC research will be focused on assuring appropriate support for distributed applications using MPI interface.

As part of the Economic Forum of the Poznań Agglomeration, Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center is going to present innovative undertakings in the area of ICT technologies as well as examples of the Center’s co-operation with businesses. The presentation will be held on 2nd April 2009, between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., in the Center’s seat at ul. Wieniawskiego 17/19.

Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center delivers the Internet webcast of the XIV Climate Change Conference being held in Poznań, 1 - 12th December 2008. Live webcast will cover two plenary rooms and press conferences, which will be also published on the webcast portal as VoD just after each event.
